Impregnated carbon cleans the air and protects against toxicity in laboratories, chemical plants, hospitals, airports, government buildings, and other places where people gather and work. We are always looking for technological advancements to improve human protection. Barnebey Sutcliffe, a division of Continental Carbon Group, is willing to explore potential partnerships from toll manufacturing, unique media, or media blends to jointly develop new and innovative solutions for the most difficult nuclear, biological, and chemical protection challenges. If you have such an application that you would like to discuss, please contact us at sales(at)continental-carbon.com.
Activated carbon preferentially removes oxygen from air. In closed or partially closed containers and vessels, oxygen depletion may reach hazardous levels. If workers are to enter a vessel containing carbon, appropriate sampling and work procedures for potentially low oxygen spaces should be followed, including all applicable Federal and State requirements.
